Property-Level Control for Default Keep Current Rates Setting

Stay is enhanced for the addition of a new property-level configuration to control the default state of the Keep Current Rates checkbox across Stay. The setting controls the default state in the following areas in Stay:

• Reservation - Modify Stay (Extend Days of reservation)

• Reservation - Modify Stay (Change rate plan in estimated charges)

• Reservation - Move Reservation (Keep current rate is disabled)

• Currently selected room in reservation - Change Room Number/Room Type

• Change room as part of Other Matching Rooms

• Recommended Room Upgrades (Upsell & Upgrade scenario/Upgrades by guest stay history)

• Tape Chart ➜ Edit/Swap Reservation

• Queue Rooms

To support this functionality, a new flag, Default Keep Current Rate, is added to the Reservation Defaults setting (All Settings ➜ General ➜ Property, Buildings & Outlets ➜ Reservation Defaults).

• When enabled, the Keep Current Rates checkbox will be enabled by default wherever applicable in Stay.

• When disabled, the Keep Current Rates checkbox will be disabled by default wherever applicable in Stay.

For shared reservations, the Keep Current Rates checkbox will be enabled by default irrespective of the property-level configuration.
